2012 DIY Christmas Sweater
An Example of DIY Assembly
It takes about four hours to complete a piece with this level of detail. We hope it motivates people to make their own as a fun project in 2012.
Here you can find a lot of interesting sweater designs and ideas. This Christmas sweater is as original as anything else you will find on their website. Made for Christmas completely out of things associated with the holiday season, this do it yourself sweater would definitely be a hit with everyone during the Christmas holidays, for many reasons.
One thing is for certain; it is definitely original. It is hundreds of different materials with loads of different colourings, all looking like they are just sewn haphazardly on to one another to make a unique sweater that you know for certain no one else will have even imagined before. However, regardless of how random everything looks, a lot of work went into making this sweater design, as you can see from closer inspection. The lines of the material are clean cute and it is sewn masterfully, with no gaps or obvious over hauls on the material, leaving unsavory bumps or loose ends.
The material all gets you into the holiday spirit. There are snow flakes on a dark blue background, reindeer on green, Santas with Christmas lights on their hats and much much more designs than that. There is not a single piece of material that doesn’t stand out in a crowd, allow you to zone in on it and wow you completely. They may come off as incredibly average Christmas designs by themselves if a whole sweater was made out of nothing but them, but I assure you that together, they really do make a sight to behold.
Also, it’s not only holiday themed material used on the jumper. The sweater also has other items sewn into it to add to the festive cheer. There are Santa hats sewn into gaps in the material, decorative snowmen attached to the body, light up parts on the hats and even lettering such as ‘merry’ and ‘DIY’. It has stuck on snowflakes and perfectly cut out Christmas trees that are made of a shiny green paper material. These items make the sweater even more unusual while still keeping up the excellent festive theme the sweater has going for it, adding to its charm over all.
So, a lot can be learned about originality and imagination from these sweaters. I highly suggest checking this one out, and all the others too, out if you need inspiration or even just something to wow you
