The Calgary Flames may be having a so-so season on the ice, but their off-ice performances are incredible.
Don’t believe me? Just check out the latest NHL Christmas sweater video made by the Calgary Flames.
In that video, some of the Flames’ top players are seen wearing club Christmas sweaters.
You can watch the full Christmas sweater video here:

Called the Ugly Christmas Sweater Miracle, the video features Dougie Hamilton, Sam Bennett, Brandon Bollig, Markus Granlund, and even an appearance from Harvie the Hound.
At the beginning of the video, the group attempts to carol around their neighborhood, only to get rejected at every door.
Then, Harvey the Hound arrives with a special delivery: Christmas sweaters for everyone.
Suddenly, the group’s Christmas magic is back! It’s a 2:20 minute video, so don’t get too excited about watching a feature-length film here.
The deliberately-bad acting is matched up perfectly with the cheesy laugh track and the hooting and hollering of unseen audience members.
Brandon Bollig Has an Acting Background
Contrary to what you might have seen in the above video, one of the Flames’ players listed above has a genuine acting background – with a real IMDB page and everything. I’m not joking.
Brandon Bollig played Will Cross in the 2002 Western Defiance. You can see his IMDB page here.
Unfortunately, Bollig chose hockey over acting, and the rest is history. You can check out Bollig’s acting on display in this clip on YouTube:
What do you think? Do any of these Flames have a future in acting? Or at least broadcasting? Or should they just stick to the ice for the rest of their lives?
